New Equity ETF from SPDR on Xetra: global investment in companies from industrialised countries with currency hedging
Since Thursday, a new exchange traded fund from State Street Global Advisors is tradable on Xetra and via the Börse Frankfurt trading venue.
The SPDR MSCI World EUR Hdg UCITS ETF gives investors access to companies with large and medium market capitalisation from 23 industrialised countries. The MSCI World Index as reference index currently comprises 1,512 equities and covers about 85 per cent of the global market capitalisation. US companies are most strongly represented, followed by Japanese and British ones. Major sectors are information technology, financial services and healthcare.
This is a Euro hedged share class which minimises the impact of exchange rate fluctuations.
