New Xtrackers ETFs on Xetra: Diversified commodity Investment, equally weighted S&P 500 with currency hedging and Emerging Market equities
Three new exchange traded funds from issuer Xtrackers have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Tuesday.
The Xtrackers Bloomberg Commodity Swap UCITS ETF 1C offers interested investors access to a diversified basket of commodity futures. This basket can consist of up to 25 individual commodities from the energy, agriculture, livestock, industrial and precious metals sectors. The weighting of the individual commodities is based on liquidity criteria as well as economic factors. However, each of the five sectors or 25 individual commodities may not exceed a maximum weighting of 33 per cent or 15 per cent.
The Xtrackers S&P 500 Equal Weight UCITS ETF 2C - EUR Hedged offers investors an alternative to the classic S&P 500, the index with the 500 largest companies listed in the USA. However, the shares are not weighted according to their market capitalization, but in equal parts. In addition, investors in this share class receive a currency hedge against the euro.
The Xtrackers MSCI Emerging Markets UCITS ETF 1D gives investors access to large and medium-sized companies from 27 emerging markets worldwide. With currently 1,418 stocks, the MSCI Emerging Markets Index covers nearly 85 percent of the market capitalization of each of these countries, with the majority of stocks coming from China, Taiwan, South Korea and India. The information technology and financial services sectors are the most heavily represented, each accounting for about twenty per cent. Dividend income is distributed to investors.
